Spiderman may now be owned by Disney, but he'll be at the San Francisco Zoo this weekend. You can meet him and get pictures taken with him. The zoo is celebrating its Insect Zoo's 30th anniversary. With more than 70 species, the San Francisco Zoo has the largest Insect Zoo west of the Mississippi (I wonder which one is larger on the east banks).
Entertainers Sandi and Stevie will sing bug songs, and the kids can do crafts as well.
WHEN: September 26 & 27, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
COST: Free with San Francisco Zoo paid admission
