TIX Bay Area is offering its annual free show nights. More than 100 theater companies are offering free tickets for multiple shows and nights this fall. You have to act quickly - they release tickets once a week online and its first-come, first-served.
Usually there are a few kid-friendly shows, but consider a date night!

Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (Gregory Maguire, author of Wicked)
Big City Improv
American Conservatory Theater (November)
Smuin Ballet
Hillbarn Theater (Steel Magnolias)
Broadway by the Bay (the Full Monty)
Solano College Theater (the Producers)
San Jose Rep (Groundswell)
