Rosalind Wiseman's books are on my reading list, and this opportunity sounds too good to pass up. On Monday, April 26th, from 7-9 p.m., she's doing a book tour with an interactive mother/daughter discusion.
Moms & daughters (ages 8-14) can attend this "fun-filled evening of mother-daughter bonding." The discussion will be about confidence, friendships, sweat-inducing moments and common mother-daughter challenges. A Q&A session and book signing will follow. It's a two-hour event that's sure to get conversation flowing.
Cost: $40 - which includes two tickets, refreshments and two books: Queen Bees & Wannabes: Helping Your Daughter Survive Cliques, Gossip, Boyfriends, for the New Realities of Girl World and Rosalind's debut young adult novel Boys, Girls, and Other Hazardous Materials. Daughters also get a free sample of Dove Go Fresh deodorant. Now that last part might be a little embarassing.
Where: Menlo-Atherton High School (555 Middlefield Rd, Menlo Park)
When: Monday, April 26th from 7-9 p.m.
RSVP/Tickets: Kepler's books.
