Coming Up: Take the Field at AT&T Park

If you have any baseball fans in the house, check out Take the Field at AT&T Park on Saturday, August 17. The event raises money for Coaching Corps, a locally-based nonprofit dedicated to bringing coaches and sports to kids in low-income communities. 

Take the Field, an event hosted by Coaching Corps, will feature:

·         The Sports Zone: Base-running and other sports games

·         The MVP Corner: Meet legendary coaches and athletes like Tony La Russa, Rickey Henderson, Dave Stewart, Dave Henderson and more

·         The Major League Access Pass: Ballpark tours and the chance to take photos in the dugout and with the Giants’ World Series trophies

·         The Splash Hits Derby: Watch as some aspiring hitters step up to the plate (in the outfield) in an attempt to hit a ball out into McCovey Cove.
