Sukkot starts this Wednesday night. This is a Jewish harvest festival, and my daughter's favorite holiday - more explanation on Sukkot here here. If you and the kids haven't yet done anything for the holiday, here's how to make an easy edible sukkah - whether you're Jewish or not. It's easy and fun.
The Palo Alto JCC is sponsoring a harvest festival this Sunday, October 16 from 11-5. They'll have food, cooking demonstrations, music, art and family-friendly activities. It's free, and it's at the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center (3941 Fabian Way, Palo Alto).
