Coming Up: Overnight at the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito

The Marine Mammal Center is hosting an overnight for families. They call is Seals, Slippers & Stars. We've done a number of overnights like this through scouting, and they're great fun (if exhausting - you'll need a nap the next day). Here's the deal:

You'll be camping in the Marin Headlands (well, in the facility courtyard, but you'll be outside), and will get after-hours educational activities, watch the late night feeding of their "patients," go on a guided hike, watch an ocean-themed movie, and wake up to the sound of barking sea lion. The $75/person fee includes dinner, dessert and breakfast, and the proceeds benefit the Marine Mammal Center. Register by October 21 (info below). If you buy 5 or more tickets at a time, the cost is $65/each.

When: Friday, October 25 — Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m.
