I love Todd Parr's books. His drawings are cute and happy. He's kind of cute too!
Todd Parr is doing an Earth Day story time at the Menlo Park library (800 Alma Street). It's Thursday, April 22 at 11:15 a.m. The book is The Earth Book (how appropriate!) and it's on the subject of environmental protection and conservation. It shows how we can work together to make the Earth feel good - from planting a tree and using both sides of the paper, to saving energy and reusing old things in new ways.
You don't have to buy the book, but if you do (you know you want it) you can get it at Keplers.
