For kids interested in science and engineering, this event looks like fun! It's a STEAM Carnival, the first in the Bay Area. It's run by Two Bit Circus, an engineering entertainment company that is trying to re-imagine the world of play. They call it a "high impact, high voltage entertainment showcase fun for all ages." STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
They'll have technology-infused games, attractions and immersive hands-on experiences, including high-tech games including:
-rooms of lasers
-walls of buttons and backyard classics made HUGE
-mad science demos
-circus acrobats, aerialists and fire breathers
-VR (virtual reality) lounge
-Trash for Teaching
Plus food, stage shows, lab demos and artists. See the preview video here.
