Bay Area Easter Events 2015

If you're looking for some fun things to do to celebrate Easter with the family in the San Francisco Bay Area, here's the place to start.

SAN FRANCISCO 
What: Spring Eggstravaganza (egg hunt, inflatables, carnival rides, entertainment, carnival rides, food for sale)
Where: Sharon Meadow at Golden Gate Park
When: Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 11-3 Cost: $8/person

What: Union Street Easter Parade (and festival with face painting, climbing wall, activities, characters)
Where: Union Street in Cow Hollow, San Francisco
When: April 5, 2015 from 10-5, parade at 2
Cost: Free



What: Big Bunny's Spring Fling (bunnies, crafts, puppet shows, stories, egg hunt, songs)
Where: San Francisco Zoo (Sloat/Great Highway, SF)
When: Saturday/Sunday, April 4-5 from 11-3
Cost: Free with admission 

TREASURE ISLAND
What: Easter Fleaster (golden egg scavenger hunt, mini circus)
Where: Treasure Island
When: Saturday/Sunday, March 28-29 from 10-4
Cost: $3/over age 12

EAST BAY
What: Bunny Weekend (tap dancing Easter bunnies, puppet shows, crafts, bunny characters)
Where: Children's Fairyland (699 Bellevue Avenue, Oakland)
When: Saturday-Sunday, April 4-5 at various times throughout the day

What: Spring Egg Hunt Extravaganza (petting zoo, bunny visit, crafts, carnival)
When: Saturday, April 4 from 9:30-1 (egg hunt time depends on age - preregister!)
Where: Willard Park, Berkeley (2730 Hillegrass Avenue)
Cost: $6/youth

What: Spring Fest (live music, crafts, kids gardening activities, face painting, balloon twisting; the first 200 families get 4x6 photo with the Easter Bunny)
When: Saturday, March 28 from 12-2
Where: Bay Street Emeryville (5616 Bay Street)
Cost: free

What: Egg Scramble and Splash into Spring (egg hunt, games, crafts, music, hiking)
Where: Crab Cove, Alameda
When: Saturday March 28, 2013 from 10-4 (egg hunt at 11:30)
Cost: free

SOUTH BAY
What: Egg Citing Spring Celebration (egg hunt, arts and crafts, photos with Easter Bunny)
Where: Camden Community Center, San Jose
When: Saturday, March 28, 2013, from 9:45-11:30 (egg hunt time depends on age)
Cost: $6/kid before March 27, $8 day of event (free for parents)

What: Easter Bunny arrives by helicopter (includes free egg, face painting, slide and bounce house)
Where: Hiller Aviation Museum (601 Skyway Road, San Carlos)
When: Saturday, April 4, from 10-1 (bunny arrives at 11)
Cost: Included with admission

  1. Come to our Glow-In-The-Dark Easter Egg Hunt! We will have an inflatable obstacle course, a black light tent, games, prizes, snacks and of course an egg hunt! All are welcome, so bring your friends. Ages toddler-Jr. High. See you there!
