This Sunday, pack a picnic and bring the kids to Sharon Meadow at Golden Gate Park. The San Francisco Symphony is performing a free concert. The tunes include A Night on Bald Mountain (I love that one!), plus Rachmaninoff's Second Piano Concerto.
For the kids, there's an "instrument petting zoo" at 12:30. The concert starts at 2:00. Don't forget about the free Sunday Streets from 11-4 the same day. It's at the Great Highway in Golden Gate Park, so you can hit both in one day!
