You and the kids are invited to attend the Fruit Tree 101 project, where you can help plant 60 lush fruit trees and shrubs (some up to 7 feet tall), while learning about fruit, healthy eating and the environment. It's sponsored by the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation and Stretch Island Fruit Company.
When: November 18 at 9:30 and 11:30
Where: SF - Robert L. Stevenson Elementary School (2051 34th Avenue - outer Sunset) at 9:30, and June Jordan School for Equity (325 La Grande Avenue - Visitacion Valley) at 11:30.
