This Sunday, head to Marin to check out the grand opening of Stretch the Imagination, a center for yoga, art and creative discovery for young kids. This San Francisco studio is opening its second location - in Corte Madera.
Stretch the Imagination focuses on exploring the arts, movement, and music as a learning process to promote child development and curiosity. It's inspired by Reggio Emilia's philosophy that kids are competent, resourceful, curious, imaginative, and inventive, and possess a desire to interact and communicate with others.
Learn more at its free open house this Sunday March 29, 2009 from 10:00am - 2:00pm. Singer James K will perform. The studio is at 47 A Tamal Vista Blvd, Corte Madera, in the Book Passage shopping center.
