Pinewood Derby cars - how far do you go?

So these were our Cub Scout Pinewood Derby cars last year. Can you tell the kids decorated them by themselves?

So I took special interest that Michael's Arts and Crafts is now selling Pinewood Derby decoration kits and decals. On second thought, nahhhhh. My kids LOVE their cars.
