Deals of the Day: Alpine Meadows, Aqua Adventure, SIGG Water Bottles, Hot Air Ballooning, Golf, Playland

It's a little hard to believe there's still skiing this time of year, but Lake Tahoe is open for business. Get Alpine Meadows tickets (good through July 4, 2011) at Groupon for $30 (value: $60). Buy through Friday.

If you're new to Groupon, get the tickets here.
If you're already a Groupon user, click here.

If your man is into golfing, here's an easy Father's Day gift. For $79 you get a 60 minute golf swing evaluation (value $175). Good at 3 Bay Area locations (Pleasanton, San Carlos and San Jose). It's good for a year - buy through Thursday.

As my former step-mother-in-law used to say, "hot air ballooning - only in Napa - only at sundown." Fortunately she's an ex, but she got the hot air ballooning part right. Just in time for Father's Day, you can buy a half-price hot air balloon excursion in Rancho Murieta - cheap enough to take the whole family. It's in the Sierra Nevada foothills, and doesn't expire until June 14, 2014 (several year away). Get a ride for $112 (half price) and buy by Thursday.

This San Francisco institution is where I bought my first bed, futon (not the same thing) and dining room table when I moved to San Francisco. All are now in new homes (RIP) but I hold a special place in my heart for this finish-it-yourself furniture store (though they also sell finished items). Today, you can get $150 in furniture for $60. Use by December 8, 2011.

Aqua Adventure Water Park
For $9 (value $17) get an admission to Aqua Adventure Water Park in Fremont. Get the deal at Plum District Deals today. Buy up to 6 per person, valid Sunday through Thursday. They expire 7/31/11.

Get $40 in SIGG water bottles for only $20 on Plum District Deals. Buy through Wednesday here.

I really want to check this place out - I've mentioned some of Playland-not-at-the-Beach events, and it's a great place for a birthday party. Savvy Source (San Francisco Bay Area) is offering $7 tickets (value $15) for the El Cerrito non-profit facility, which has more than 30 open-play pinball machines plus other open-play arcade games. Buy through Thursday, and redeem by June 4, 2012 31st (though you can turn it in by then, and then use it later).

Get a $50 restaurant.com certificate for $7.50 using code DINNER - you don't have to choose the restaurant. If you buy two of these cards, you get a $25 certificate for free. Or just get a $25 certificate for $3, also using code DINNER. Buy through tomorrow, Wednesday, June 8.
