Deal of the Day: Indoor Skydiving $40

I'm afraid to jump out of an airplane as a skydiver, but I'd be just fine doing indoor skydiving. I've always wanted to try it - my friends went and had a blast (pun intended). Even the kids loved it.

This would make a GREAT Father's Day gift.

iFly Indoor Skydiving in Union City is offering a deal today on Groupon. For $40, you get two indoor skydives and a DVD showing you grinning like an idiot (see photo above). Of course training and equipment is provided. Kids as young as 18 months are eligible (though I don't know many kids that young who agree to this). The package is normally worth $82.

To buy the iFly Indoor Skydiving deal, click here. It's only available today. It's on the San Jose page. If you're taken to another page (like SF), just go to the top where it says "visit more cities" and click on that. Then click on San Jose.

Small print: The voucher expires December 16, 2010, and it's not good on weekends (that's important). You can buy one voucher per person, but you can buy multiple vouchers as gifts. You need to make an appointment for you skydive. It's non-transferable (though I'm not sure what that means, since you can buy them as gifts). If you are more than 6' tall, you can't weigh more than 250 lbs. If you're under 6', you must weigh less than 230lbs. You can't be pregnant or have suffered a heart, neck, or back problems in the past. You're on the hook for taxes.

Even smaller print: Groupon is a Frisco Kids affiliate. If you purchase this using our link and you're a new Groupon customer, we'll get a small credit to use on a future Groupon purchase.
