Looking for a meal out, but don't want the high expense?
Kids eat free at these restaurants:
Sadiedey's Cafe in Oakland - they're promoting their new dinner events, so starting after 4:00 (Monday-Friday), every adult entree ordered earns one of your kids a free meal too. The nightly activities are themed: Mondays - Single Parents Night; Tuesdays - Community OutReach Night; Wednesdays - Family Art Night; Thursdays - Movie, Pizza, and Popcorn night. Sadiedey has a play area for the kids, in addition to scheduled activities like puppets and music.
Hobee's - with various Bay Area (peninsula and South Bay) locations, this restaurant is a favorite of ours. Like Sadiedey's, it's locally owned. Every Wednesday night at these Hobee's (Palo Alto, Campbell, Stanford, Sunnyvale and though it's not on the website, it's advertised at the Belmont location), kids eat free after 5:00. Plus this summer in Los Gatos, on second Saturdays, kids eat free all day if the accompanying adult purchases an entree. Find the nearest Hobee's here.
And while it's a big chain, we still love Chevy's. Tuesdays (all day) kids eat free days, with purchase of adult entree. If you can park yourself in the cantina for this meal, you can get half-priced margaritas from 5:00-7:00 too. Bonus!
And while this is technically not a kids eat free thing, you can get some awesome prices on restaurant meals using restaurant.com. Buy a coupon for $25 off your meal for only $2 (sale ends today - normally it's $25 coupon for $10 - still a deal). Use the promo code PRESENT when you check out - this promo is good through 6/15/09, but they have lots of sales. I've used these coupons a bunch of times, and have a handful sitting at my desk, so it's legit!
